What is text?

Text is the stuff your visitor will read.

Text is the way you get information across to your visitor so it is important you give careful thought to what you want to say.

You will need to think about what you are trying to achieve on your site:

• Are you trying to sell an item?
• Are you trying to sell a service?
• Are you trying to keep people informed about something?
• Do you want the site to have something of your personality in it?

Depending on what you are trying to achieve, you will need to give careful consideration to the wording on your site.

If you are renown for being chatty and funny, why not bring some humour into your wording. If you are trying to promote a serious business, then perhaps this would not be the best way to put your wording across. It really is up to you as you hopefully know your target audience.

Providing the text

You can provide me with the text content by e-mail or on disc (i.e. electronically) and I will include this in the web site for no extra costs. I will edit free of charge, which includes grammar and spelling and also layout for the web site page.

If you only have manual copy, that is fine, but there may be a small additional charge per A4 page of text which needs to be copied manually however, editing will remain free of charge. (Charges will be advised in advance of any work being done)

I also provide a copy writing service, which would be at an extra cost.
